**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are currently seeking a passionate **Demand Planner **to join the Supply Chain team based in Madrid. Reporting to the Demand Manager of Management Unit Southern Europe, the role will see you managing the Demand process for the Spanish market. You will also be a key contributor to the monthly S&OP process, along with managing all the reporting within the Planning team. The successful applicant will execute the weekly/monthly Demand Planning process and ensure targeted level of forecast accuracy for his/her own Brands, in order to guarantee correct service and inventory levels within set target guidelines.

**Your Tasks**:
Within the Supply Chain team of Beiersdorf Spain, part of the Management Unit Southern Europe, the Demand Planner will be responsible for the accuracy of Brands managed, in order to guarantee, in collaboration with PC/Supply Planners, availability of finished goods on the Spanish market.
- You will manage demand planning to ensure visibility and accuracy on short
- and long-term planning (baseline and promo).
- You will build-up and track forecast for new products (Innovation), sharing assumptions and key drivers with local counterparts (Marketing, Sales, Controlling).
- You will participate actively to monthly S&OP process, being a key contributor to achieve a consensus forecast, basis both for Production Planning and Financial Forecasts.
- You will ensure forecasts are as accurate as possible thanks to good communication both within Supply Chain and with Sales, Marketing and Trade departments.
- In cooperation with Supply/Production Planners you are responsible to secure service level towards our customers in line with stock value and stock coverage targets.

**MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Manage sales forecasting for a good supply of our standard products and promotional products in line with KPIs and BPIs;
- Follow up of the innovations (phase out/phase in) to ensure a minimum destruction quantity on the old version while securing the launch of the new products;
- Analysing the quality of forecast and anticipating impacts on business;
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance to ensure availability/accuracy of data in S&OP process;
- In cooperation with Supply/Production Planners, check stock levels of standard finished goods and promotions for an optimum service level, keeping targets of Working Capital;
- Secure VAS replenishment process;
- Planning Master Data maintenance;
- Active participation in Supply Chain or interdepartmental projects within or across countries.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Experience 3 years in Demand Planning / Supply Chain within FMCG;
- Experience with SAP, BI/B.One reporting, APO/DP tool or equivalent statistical forecasting tools;
- Analytical mindset and Excel wizard;
- Fluent in English;
- Strong operational skills;
- Attitude: problem solving, proactiveness, Team player with a collaborative mind-set play, sharing and challenging different ideas whenever needed;
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
