A new 63,000 square foot facility will initially support chemical synthesis and purification, more than doubling Eurofins Discovery’s current capacity. The state-of-the-art facility will provide chemistry capacity and capabilities and enable new, associated services. The building’s design utilizes lean principles, optimizing sample and supply flows with laboratories demonstrating a modern and functional design to support industry demand for key productivity metrics
**Job Description** PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
As the Zone IT Infrastructure Manager, you will lead operations, delivery, and transformation of IT infrastructure across the Eurofins Discovery European User Zone, as well as cloud infrastructure across all Eurofins Discovery businesses globally. Your mission is to provide resilient, cost-effective, and high-quality IT services that enable business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires both strategic design capabilities and hands-on implementation of technical solutions.

**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**:
**_ IT Strategy & Governance_**
- Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to define and execute the IT infrastructure strategy within the zone and the Eurofins Discovery Cloud.
- Implement and lead IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
- Act as a Managed IT Service Provider for internal customers, building strong business relationships.
- Support the elaboration of the annual IT infrastructure budget.
- Install robust project management for infrastructure initiatives, cost control, and service delivery practices.

**_ IT Infra & Security_**
- Lead the Eurofins Discovery European Zone and Cloud IT Infra teams to ensure reliable, high-performing IT infrastructure services.
- Drive and execute, when applicable, day-to-day operations, ensuring system uptime, performance, and service continuity across the IT infrastructure landscape.
- Oversee the transformation of legacy systems into a segregated, state-of-the-art, secure, modern infrastructure.
- Implement Group and Regional IT infrastructure and security standards.

**_ Team & Performance Management_**
- Develop a high-performing IT team across multiple countries.
- Foster collaboration and share best practices across different legal entities and teams.
- Monitor and report on service quality and user satisfaction via KPIs and SLAs

**Qualifications** REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure leadership experience.
- Proven experience managing distributed teams in complex, international IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- PMP and ITIL Foundation certifications are strongly preferred.

**_ Preferred Skills_**
- Familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, TOGAF, Scrum, and Six Sigma.
- Experience using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as GxP or GDPR.
