Your team**

We are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced Business & Technical Consultant in our Madrid office.

As part of the Global Delivery team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment and will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to the ongoing success of Avaloq. As a Business & Technical Consultant at Avaloq, you will have the chance to establish a varied career in consultancy and/or project management by working for one of the leading providers of FinTech solutions to wealth managers and banks.
**What you will do**

You will analyze and structure the customer requirements, design business enhancing solutions and ensure a high-quality implementation on time. In our innovation projects, Client implementations and change projects you will develop and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.

In a growing and international team with strong IT and banking skills, you will experience a steep learning curve with interesting career opportunities.

This role is based in our **Madrid office **and you will be assigned on local or international projects.

**Qualifications**:
Qualifications
**Education**
- University or technical college degree in IT, engineering or banking/finance/economics
- Profound knowledge of programming languages and databases
**Professional Experience**
- At least 2 years of experience in implementation projects
- Knowledge of the banking/finance industry and related processes in the Investment Management / Securities Trading
**Skills**
- Enthusiasm for complex bank-specific problems and designing technical solutions
- Marked analytical abilities and a high level of quality awareness
- Professionalism when dealing with customers and highly-developed communication and presentation skills
- Excellent spoken and written English is a must, German and/or French is an advantage
**Personality**
- Ability to adapt easily to a diverse, multi-cultural environment
- Structured and self-organized method of working
- Good team player
- Reliable, and efficient in working under pressure
