Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning was established on October 1st, 2015 as a joint venture between Hitachi Appliances, Inc. (now Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.) and Johnson Controls, Inc. Hitachi Appliances carved out and contributed its air conditioning business to the Joint Venture. Johnson Controls acquired a 60% stake of the carved-out business and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of this venture.
With this joint venture, two rich, 100-year-old cultures and histories have come together to create one exciting new company, serving our combined customers with the most diverse product portfolio in the air conditioning industry.
For our Vacarisses Plant, in Barcelona, we are looking for a:
**Project Controller Engineer**
**What you will do**
Also, monitored the legal context of the market and detected threats and business opportunities that were applied to product development and sales strategy, and design and oversaw implementation of product development and sales strategy in response to major regulatory changes.
Has also to achieve sinergies with other BU that impacted the P&L of the company and establish an effective communication channel with headquarters in Japan for a quick decision-making process for design changes on overseas products.
**How you will do it**:
- Preparation and coordination of the project plan
- Definition of rules and systems
- Documentation and monitoring of progress
- Controlling change and recommending preventative action
- Monitoring adherence of project timeline with the decided schedule plan
- Knowledge of cost calculations
**What we are looking for**:
- Engineering degree
- Minimum of experience of 6/10 years
- Mandatory to be very expertise in Microsoft excel and costs calculation methodologies.
- English high knowledge
- Desirable: Knowledge in windchild, PLM, SAP HANA, and SolidWorks (plus)
