**#About the gig**

We are looking for a Lead Instructor and Teaching Assistant team to deliver a **100-hour**in-person training** program titled “Foundations of Computing and Statistics”. This course is designed for individuals with disabilities and aims to build essential digital and analytical skills using office productivity tools, with a strong focus on employability, digital inclusion, and technological autonomy.

The selected teaching team will be responsible for delivering the content in a modular format and must be physically present throughout the entire course.

**Teaching Team Requirements**:
**Lead Instructor**

Must meet at least one of the following criteria:

- Teaching Experience:

- Delivered at least three (3) in-person training programs in the same or a similar specialty (i.e., computer literacy, Excel, statistics) within the last five (5) years.
- If experience is presented by modules, it must equal at least three times the duration of each module proposed in this training.
- Academic Background:

- A university degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- If no degree is presented, must show experience in at least twelve (12) in-person training programs in a similar specialty over the past five years.

**Teaching Assistant**
- Role Description:

- Support students in completing exercises
- Collaborate with the Lead Instructor
- Encourage learner autonomy and motivation
- Teaching Experience:

- At least one (1) in-person training program in computer literacy, statistics, or similar fields in the last three years
- If experience is modular, must equal at least three times the proposed module duration
- Academic Background:

- Degree in a relevant field or four (4) in-person training programs in the last three years

**Note: Both roles require a Curriculum Reference Form and diploma copy, if applicable.**

**Course Topics**
- Use of accessibility tools and digital environments
- Fundamentals of digital safety and online communication
- Excel basics: formulas, charts, tables, and data cleaning
- Statistical concepts: mean, mode, median, variability, interpretation of results
- Hands-on exercises and contextual projects Course Management Responsibilities
- Introduce key concepts: Excel, digital literacy, basic statistics
- Provide regular feedback and assess student exercises and projects
- Foster collaborative and inclusive learning
- Coordinate with Ironhack for student evaluations and progress reports
