PagoNxt is looking for a HEAD OF DELIVERY based in our MADRID/LONDON office.

PagoNxt is a new company wholly owned by Santander that incorporates our most disruptive payments & trade businesses into a single, autonomous company, creating one of the largest private fintech companies in the world. This new company will deliver payment & trade solutions for merchants and consumers with compelling technology to become a leading global payments provider in the medium term.
This role will be part of our Payments Hub team within PagoNxt and will be responsible for delivering fast, efficient trade finance, supplying chain and FX payments solutions for international SMEs that were once only accessible to larger corporations.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
As a Head of Delivery, directly reporting to the CTO for Payments Hub, you will be responsible for a functional area, going beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems. Contribute to the strategy of the function or department by developing plans that include business, operational and organisational priorities.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
Ensure the quality of the product: Provide feedback based on squads input and needs to help shape the Roadmap and strategy. And help making decisions on quality decisions that affect the delivery.
Squads being aligned, understanding the dependencies and assisting in the resolution of any blockers: Assist in coordinating multi-squad deliveries and help finding solutions to blockers and to escalate when appropriate. Help with the rotation of engineers between squads. Own the technical plan and dependencies. Estimate the delivery and resources required for the delivery. Allocate work to the impacted squads.
Embedding and sustaining a strong agile culture: Attend the agile ceremonies of the squads offering guidance and support and quickly address any issues before they become embedded or accepted.
Evangelisation of good practices: Ensure squads follow good practices encouraging anchors and engineers to follow best practices. Motivate the team to achieve ideas together by planning think and design sessions and help to execute them.
**EXPERIENCE**
5+ years of professional experience.
EDUCATION
University degree in a scientific, technical or mathematical discipline and / or completed training with additional qualification, or previous relevant experience.
**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**
Deep knowledge of Agile delivery framework.
High level of English is a must. Spanish is desired.
