DevOps Lead Engineer

Nationale Nederlanden Oxygen is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain.

Our main objective is to create, deliver and maintain insurance product management solutions, as service propositions to enable any agent (linked or direct), machine or company to create and sell insurance products in Europe in an automated way and real time.

On this occasion, we offer an indefinite contract of DevOps Engineer Lead in the Information Technologies area. We provide you with the following information:
What is the purpose/mission of the position?
- A DevOps Lead Engineer is specialized in technology and infrastructures with great knowledge about developments and operations (cloud solutions, Pipeline CI/CD, deploy as a code, systems, networking, debugging, observability). He is responsible for providing a stable, secure, and resilient IT services to internal and external customers, giving support across the company.
- A DevOps Lead Engineer will operate and maintain the service to meet the defined SLAs for the platform, this includes tasks such as deployment, troubleshoot, debug, and fix Cloud infrastructure and systems related issues and/or performance improvements. Also, it must participate in on-call rotation for Level 2/3 24x7 support.
- A DevOps Lead Engineer must be passionate about technology and be up to date with current market trends and new technologies to drive innovation and improve and adapt to the current way of working to gain efficiency.
- A DevOps Lead Engineer must manage team backlog, workload, organize on-call rotations scheduling, organize ticketing tool work / assignments.

What are the tasks that you’ll perform?
- Manage infrastructure as a code and to provide a stable, fully operational, and secure IT services to internal and external customers.
- Sharing knowledge with the rest of the team, other BU´s and Group.
- Execute release runbooks (deployments) to promote changes to different environments, especially production.
- Manage Cloud costs to stay on budget.
- Manage infrastructure secure and compliance by design.
- Manage tasks on Kanban Board to advance according to the company strategy guidelines.
- It must work closely with Head of DevOps to define the strategy and prioritize workload based on company’s needs.

What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree, Master of science, completed studies in business administration or IT
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Minimum 5 years managing Cloud Environments and Cloud projects
- Cloud Certifications
