The European movement is underpinned by a network of different entities - certified B Corps, country partner representatives and the team of B Lab Europe, which coordinates the strategy, processes and many of the activities of its European country partners.

B Lab Spain is responsible for growing a thriving B Corp community in the country working with key stakeholders in the ecosystem, delivering the strategy, fostering new partnerships and initiating activities that create value to B Corps and the movement across Spain. The team works closely with the Global and European B Lab teams and the other European Country Partners.

B Lab Spain is looking for a Managing Director to steer the growth and collective impact of the B Corp Community in the country.

The Managing Director plays an important role managing a pipeline of businesses aiming to certify as B Corps and continuing to build a B Corp community which is strong, collaborative and inspired to stretch further in the impact they generate through their operations.

The main functions and responsibilities of this role are:
**_ Strategic planning and execution _**
- Develop and execute the B Lab Spain Strategic Plan according to the purpose and objectives defined by both B Lab Spain Foundation and B Lab Global, through its theory of change.
- Grow and manage the Spanish B Corp market by developing processes to allow businesses to use and engage with B Lab’s tools, products and certification.
- Develop a consistent strategy and plan for the Spanish market and ensure its delivery against key targets as well as the ability to drive forward our ‘theory of change’ in Spain and then liaise with the B Lab Europe Team on establishing strategic priorities.
- Foster the Spanish B Corp community and seek out topical opportunities that serve the B Corp community and its network well to ensure B Corps are on the agenda in sectors on the cutting edge of business.
- Participate in the strategic management bodies of B Lab Europe, which integrates the participation of the executive management of the different European countries, with the aim of contributing to the development of the B Corp movement in Europe.
- Facilitate the decision making of the Board of Trustees by providing the strategic vision of the Foundation and offering a timely picture of the opportunities and risks present in the development of the organization.
- Report to the Board of Trustees and attend quarterly meetings, preparing and updating information necessary for the Board to assess the progress of the strategic plan and its objectives. Lead the deployment and execution of the annual action plan, tracking the progress of the implementation of the set of activities.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to develop business impact management and measurement programs that diversify the Foundation's revenue streams.
- Draw up and report on the budget based on strategies agreed with B Lab Europe and the supervisory board and take responsibility for developing fundraising campaigns which may be needed to support special projects.
- Prepare the annual budget to facilitate the achievement of defined objectives and review compliance.
- Analyse potential risks and ensure management that controls and minimizes these risks, ensuring the reputation of the Foundation and the B Corp movement.
