**Travel Consultant**
Full-time/Part-time, (home)based in Europe

As a Travel Consultant you will be the primary point of contact for one dedicated client and will provide active travel consultation their travelers. You will build a strong relationship with the client and deliver an excellent and personalized service.

**A snapshot of this opportunity**
- You will appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the client
- Search and confirm travel reservations for the client
- Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs and penalties
- Expertly use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
- Perform follow-up as needed and within the time frame promised to the client

**How can you set yourself apart**
- Experience in a customer service-oriented position
- Knowledge of GDS (Amadeus preferred)
- Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
- Strong communication skills in English, knowledge of Dutch, French, or Spanish is nice to have
- Excellent problem solving and/or critical thinking skills
- Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
