We are looking for a well-organized Site Engineer with strong leadership skills to join our growing team for our Structural Steel Installation Project in Barcelona. The site engineer's responsibilities include managing different parts of construction projects, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders.

As a Site Engineer, in coordination with the Project & Site Managers, you will be managing the day-to-day site activities and according to the approved planning and installation drawings, including the control of the installation activities, surveying checks, and setting out duties of the installation teams. You will also be assisting the site teams with all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management, especially during the lifting activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support for the completion of works Inspection & Test Plans.
- Carry out site checks on a daily basis
- Writing daily site progress report
- Coordinate site and supervise installation team to make sure installation is accurate and comply with the approved design
- Review short-term works program and input to the teams as required in line with any ongoing site activities.
- Oversee quality control and assist in the implementation of quality performance.
- Support the site team day to day running of the site.
- Act under the Site Manager as a supervisor on-site for specialist subcontractors.
- Leading steel material distribution to the right erection area.
- Providing solutions-based management of site issues without unnecessary conflict.
- Ability to research and review compliance of designs with local regulations and working practices.
- Preparing daily site reports.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Site-based civil engineering or construction background
- 5-7 years experience in steel erection structural steelwork,
- Fluency in English and Spanish
