**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biosciences (e.g., Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines).

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in wet lab research.
- Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and flow cytometry techniques.
- Experience working with animal models of infectious diseases.
- Advanced English is required

**Valued**:

- Experience in parasitic culture (T. cruzi and Leishmania)

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Independently conduct routine and non-routine experiments, including molecular analysis (DNA and RNA extraction, qPCR) and cell culture experiments (tissue explant culture, viral and bacterial and parasitic infections, flow cytometry).
- Perform in vivo infection experiments using mouse models.
- Tissue processing and flow cytometry.
- Coordination of sample collection.
- Ensure quality control of equipment, reagents, and cellular components.

**Labour conditions**:

- Position linked to a project: 40hours/week.
- Starting date: January 2025
- Gross annual salary: (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
