**MADRID IT Platform**

The Spain IT Platform for EMEA is responsible to provide IT Services to our Clients ensuring a Digital Market evolution, in a secured and performant environment, and with a reliable quality. This function includes Global Markets Application Production, Local Territory IT Development, the Core Infrastructure environment including Datacentres, Application Production, Security, Architecture as well as elements of the Global Services organisation.

ABOUT THE JOB

Opportunity for a Telecom graduate to spend some time working with Madrid Telecom and Workspace teams focused on Telecom Network and Network Security with a change to explore other Technology departments within the domain. in the EMEA Telecom and Datacenter area, the applicant will be part of the EMEA Campus network group team, which is responsible for the production, monitoring and the engineering of the BNP Paribas European campus network services. The team is also responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the standards to all sites and the deployment of new sites/branches over the EMEA region. In this position, you will work with all the campus infrastructure over Europe and Middle East. Oversee the entire Telecommunications infrastructure for BNP Paribas across Europe and Middle East, supporting approximately 60000 users, leading 7 teams with 35 engineers. We are responsible for delivery seamless, secure and scalable telecommunications for campus infrastructure and POP datacentre services.

Tasks & Responsabilities

**Network / Network Security Infrastructure management**:

- Manage and maintain physical telecommunications infrastructure, including campus buildings datacentres POPs, technical rooms, communication lines, and network equipment.
- Oversee wired, Wi-Fi, and datacentre network infrastructures, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and security protocols.
- Manage the BAU task on the Campus network.
- Collaborate with vendors to procure network equipment, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of services and support.
- Manage the design and deployment of new sites/branches and new technologies that were accepted by BNP Paribas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in all of the EMEA countries

Professional Skills, Abilities and Experience
- Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including routing, switching, and wireless networks.
- Knowledge & basic experience with all dynamic routing protocols, as well as MPLS, VPLS, VRF
- Knowledge & basic experience in network management tools and technologies, such as network monitoring systems, configuration management, and performance analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge & basic experience of wireless RF design, troubleshooting and security.
- Knowledge & basic experience in LAN & WAN security

Languages & Qualifications

High English spoken and written fluent (B2/C).

French spoken and written will be valued.

Bachelors in Telecommunications or equivalent.

On Site Services: From 7:30 to 19:30 schedule to cover in weekly shifts of 8 working hours/day
