International Project Manager

**IDIBELL is looking for an International Project Manager**

**About the unit**

IDIBELL Internacional project unit provides support to researchers throughout the lifecycle of international competitive research projects to contribute to the leadership of IDIBELL in biomedical research.
We encourage and support our researchers in the pursuit of competitive funding for research detecting opportunities and contributing to the development of quality proposals. Once the desired funding is achieved, we provide guidance on regulations compliance and manage granted projects for the best research outcomes.

**About the role**
- Advice and support researchers in the preparation and submission of international competitive proposals as well as in all aspects of the granting process (approval, contract signatures, etc).
- Identification of funding opportunities and resolution of the calls.
- Collaboration in the organization of infodays, training sessions for the scientific community etc.
- Communication with funding agencies and national contact points.
- In addition, collaboration in financial reporting tasks when necessary.

**Job requirements**

Professional experience
- Previous experience in the management of international calls and projects as well as knowledge of European Framework Programmes, NIH and other international funding programs.

Education and training
- BSc/MSc preferable in life sciences

Technical skills
- Well-organised person with very good attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Team player with good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Languages
- Good command of the English language

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV).
