QA Engineer

We’re looking for an **experienced QA Engineer** to join our QA team. The team looks after the merchant facing components of our solution. This includes includes **several APIs**, native **SDKs** and a **multi-platform app** as well as our range of **payment terminals**.
As an experienced QA Engineer, you will join the team just in time to help us create a robust, scalable and trustable automated ecosystem. This would be a combined manual and automation testing effort and will include the creation of test strategy and framework, including automation.
You will be a part of a local, autonomous, cross-functional team with an end-to-end responsibility for a business critical domain, and therefore - high impact.
We trust in your knowledge and expertise and therefore give you autonomy to help us build a great QA and automation suite. In this position we're looking for someone willing to own the process, to see problems and work with others to build tools and processes so that no bug ever reaches our customers.

In this role, you will: *
- You will have an active role in laying the foundations of the test automation strategy & framework in the squad
- You will take part in feature discussions and have the opportunity to improve our customers' experience
- You will participate in handling issues, including investigation, communication and delivery of fixes
- You will promote the quality guidelines set by the QA chapter within your squad and ensure these guidelines are adequate for your squad’s specific needs
- Work in an agile cross-functional squad
- Be a strong quality advocate on behalf of our customers, working closely with software engineers, DevOps, designers, and product managers to release high quality products.

You’ll be great for this position if*
- You have good command of **any** high-level language such as Kotlin/C#/JS/Node.js/Python
- You are eager to learn and develop new skills
- You have experience in test automation
- You are a self-driven, focussed and like to share knowledge
- You are fluent in English - you'll be part of a truly global company

**Any of the following would be considered a plus**
- CI and/or DevOps skills will be considered a great advantage
- Experience with AWS, Ansible, Docker
- Experience in a similar business domain
- Payments experience a **BIG** plus
