Interim Finance Director

**Location**: UK or Europe with regular travel.

Are you a dynamic finance leader ready to drive strategic growth and transformation? AB Neo is seeking a Finance Director to play a critical role in shaping our financial future. Partnering with our Managing Director and the AB Neo Senior Leadership Team, you will have the opportunity to influence key business decisions, champion financial excellence, and support our ambitious plans for sustainable international growth.

Reporting to the MD of AB Neo and with a functional line to the CFO of AB Agri, you will lead the AB Neo Finance Team. Your focus will be on providing strategic financial insights, managing financial governance, and supporting business transformation. With a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen, you will be instrumental in driving our strategic goals, including geographic expansion, product innovation, and M&A activities.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Provide strategic financial input to the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring robust business planning and performance.
- Oversee financial control and governance, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Drive the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, supporting sustainable EBIT growth.
- Champion business transformation, including strategic pricing, product profitability, and manufacturing optimisation.
- Cultivate strong partnerships across AB Neo, AB Agri, and external stakeholders, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.

**What you'll bring**:

- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with proven success in a senior leadership role.
- Experience leading an international finance team in an Animal Feed or Food production/manufacturing business.
- Experience in strategic and operational financial transformation within a complex, B2B environment.
- Experience with ERP implementation would be advantageous.
- Strong track record of driving business improvements through financial insight.
- Ability to build and manage relationships across different cultures and regions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for challenging the status quo.

**Location**

This role offers flexibility and can be based in the UK or Europe. AB Neo have sites in Videbaek, (Denmark), Melmerby (UK), Fraga (Spain), or Smigiel (Poland). Regular travel between these locations, the AB Agri head office in Peterborough (UK) and other destinations will be required to support our global operations.
