**At Trifork we're looking for a Data Scientist to join our team.**

Full-time - Mallorca, Spain

**About the job**:

As a Data Scientist, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering machine learning models that solve complex problems across domains like **object detection, segmentation, and anomaly detection**.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on turning raw data into high-performing models, someone who sees the full ML lifecycle as a creative and technical playground. You’ll collaborate closely with ML engineers, software developers, project managers, and domain experts to build solutions that work, not just in theory, but in production.

Your work will touch all phases of model development: curating and preparing datasets, training and evaluating models, and helping deploy them to deliver business and user value. You won’t be siloed; you’ll be **in the room where decisions are made**, shaping both the technical direction and the real-world impact of your work.

This is a dynamic role for someone who loves variety, ownership, and being part of a sharp, collaborative team. You won’t just grow your technical skills here—you’ll learn how to ship solutions, communicate clearly, and **make ML work in the real world**.

**About you**:

- Solid understanding of the **machine learning lifecycle** (data collection, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment).
- Experience with **object detection, image segmentation, anomaly detection**, or related computer vision techniques.
- Proficiency in **Python** and deep learning libraries like **PyTorch, TensorFlow,**or similar.
- Strong data manipulation skills using **Pandas, NumPy, OpenCV**, and image annotation tools.
- English is a** must.**You’ll need to communicate findings and ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders across different time zones.
