**Job Description Summary**:
Manage Material planning and Inventory Control on a Global Level focusing on defining, developing and implementing solutions, liaising with stakeholders, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Act as Business Process Expert for Material Planning and Inventory Control (Processes, Master Data, Systems, Training & Support).
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements on the area of scope.
- Train and design processes, training materials or presentations if needed.

In this role you will report to Director, Global Inbound Logistics and be part of the Global Supply Chain organization in LM Wind Power.

The role as Manager, Material Planning and Inventory Control ranges over a span of disciplines in a truly global environment. The main responsibilities cover;
Material Forecast
- Direct Material Global Forecasting: ensure that Global Sourcing and local buyers can provide to suppliers sufficient and accurate material demand information, on a monthly basis, based on S&OP figures
- Follow up on forecast accuracy identifying the need for and defining improvement actions
- Collaborate with Commodity Managers on developing Commodity Strategy related to Supply Chain topics

The role as Manager, Material Planning and Inventory Control ranges over a span of disciplines in a truly global environment. The main responsibilities cover;
Material Planning
- Set up and implement standards and operating procedures on MRP and follow up plant performance.
- Follow up BOM and planning accuracy, identifying the need for and defining improvement actions
- Follow up MRP utilization and accuracy, identifying the need for and defining improvement actions
- Follow up MT status with commodity teams
- Support on mitigation actions defined to reduce identified supply risk (like rebalancing: distribution of available capacity to ensure maximum coverage at LM plants minimizing the risk of production stoppages due to material shortage)
- Report Supply Chain identified risks to S&OP team

Inventory Management
- Ensure accurate business information about Inventory levels
- Follow up and define actions to eliminate idle inventory.
- Set up and implement standards and operating procedures

Tools To Reach Efficiency
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Define & deploy standard tools & processes for perimeter in charge
- Dynamic training and refreshment of the local teams
