**Civil Project Engineer Sr** **Job Purpose** **Main Accountabilities** Coordinates, supervises, and manages the making of the detailed civil engineering, as well as the follow up of the schedules, which shall be completed according to the master schedule and correct any deviations that may occur. Validate the calculations and designs made by the different engineering companies Verify the compliance of norms, standards and design specifications of the designers and engineering companies, through monitoring and assistance Technical participation and support of the construction department regarding construction situations that may be required during the construction process. Request necessary field information of the group plants or its subsidiaries, to give continuity to the projects, thus avoiding possible interferences in the installations of new utilities and upgrade of building positions or existing utilities. Requests all the materials and civil services necessary for the projects. Provide technical support during the whole tender of construction process, including review of the offers, technical assessments, clarifications with bidders and support during negotiations with bidders up to contract award, ensuring optimal contractors selection and contracting conditions. Management of contractors, including claims, ensuring compliance of the contracted terms and conditions. Management of interfaces across contractors, changes, and administrative work. Reporting, including management of daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Technical support during due diligences processes on construction related matters, including review of the Capex estimates, site visits, constructability reviews. **Education and Experience** Level of Education: Bachelor (degree), Master Area of Study: Civil Engineer, Engineer Other: Structural Engineering Master's Degree Knowledge of PC Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Others Specify: CAD, AutoCad general knowledge, Staad Pro, SAP 2000, Robot, RFEM **Experience**: > =8 years Engineering companies engaged in heavy industries > =2 years At least of experience working on site as civil engineer **Other requirements** 1. General knowledge of cement, ready-mix and aggregate industry process. 2. General knowledge of engineering and projects process development. 3. General knowledge of cement process main and auxiliary equipment. 4. Leadership skills. 5. Site experience required. 6. Experience working in a large-scale utility and multicultural environment is a plus.
