This time, we're searching for a **Tax Supervisor** to join our squad based in Barcelona.
**Objectives**:
- Responsible for overseeing all** tax-related matters **for our organization across Europe-Middle East (EMEA), and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) countries.
- Primary goal will be to ensure compliance with local tax laws, optimize our tax
**Responsabilities**:
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. Stay updated on any changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
- Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position. Identify tax-saving opportunities, manage tax incentives, and minimize tax liabilities while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Tax Risk Management: Assess and mitigate tax risks in our businesses. Develop and implement internal controls and processes to ensure tax compliance and minimize potential risks.
- Stakeholder Management: Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operational teams, to provide tax guidance and support. Collaborate with external advisors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Transfer Pricing: Oversee transfer pricing policies and documentation to ensure compliance with local regulations and arm's length principle. Coordinate with relevant teams to establish appropriate transfer pricing methodologies.
**Performance indicators**:
- Annual fiscal compliance rate improvement to 95%.
- 5% rate of delays in all Tax filings.
- Meet monthly reporting deadlines.
- No audit errors related to Tax GL accounts.
**Skills & requirements**:
- Public accountant with at **least 3 years of work experience in Taxes**, with additional background. Preferably in one or more of the following areas: Indirect Tax, Transfer Pricing and/or Cross Border Transactions, US GAAP compliance and reporting.
- Big4 and MNE experience is mandatory.
- Knowledge of the tax regulations in EMEA and APAC.
- Solid experience in different tax jurisdictions.
- Analytic skills, capacity to engage with top management and peers, project management, attention to detail, teamwork.
- Financial literacy: capacity to work with financial statements, financial projections and valuation models.
- Soft skills: Team-player, always on attitude, coachable and positively minded.
