**Role**:
**The Cloud Business Development Manager supports our European business and Oracle requirements, provides sales support to the Sales & Vendor Teams around the Arrow Cloud business. The Business Development Manager is responsible for engaging with the relevant local teams, owning sales enablement, business planning and building joint propositions with the Business Development Managers (BDM) team.**

**Missions**:

- The Oracle Cloud Business Development Manager will be a member of the EMEA team to support Arrow's European business
- Owning our EMEA go to market with Oracle Cloud and driving our sales and marketing strategy
- Channeling enablement within Arrow and its partners
- Participation in RFPs (request for proposal) for key customers
- Managing sales pipeline and forecasting across the business
- Taking part in regular business review meetings

**Responsibilities**:
**Duties will include but are not restricted to**:

- Understand Oracle's expectations, strategy, critical success factors and go to market principles
- Understand the suppliers commercial modelling and drive to maximize Arrow's margin opportunity
- Working closely and co-operating with the vendor and Arrow's own Oracle teams around EMEA
- Build and manage Arrow's Oracle Cloud sales and marketing plan
- Driving activities that enable our teams to reach their revenue goals
- Be the sales focal point for engagements around demonstrations, potential cloud solutions & program expertise
- Remain knowledgeable & fully sales certified on the Oracle Cloud portfolio
- Maintain a strong understanding of current industry technology (specifically Cloud), trends, and the competition
- Owning our forecasting for Oracle Cloud both internally and back to the vendor
- Please note travel across Europe will form part of this role (up to 50%)

**Key Skills / Experience**:

- Minimum 4-5 years and more of Business Development experience
- Cloud sales and solutions experience - strongly preferred
- Ability to build strong and lasting business relationships
- Have a good knowledge of industry, trends & technology
- Experience of enterprise sales cycles and managing bids to closure
- Ability to understand expectations and build a strong plan to meet goals
- Ability to manage forecasting and providing reports to senior management
- Valid Passport
