A Database Architect is responsible for analyzing, creating, manipulating, and organizing database systems. He consolidate various data ranging from confidential company files, health data records, and personal data to make it easily accessible and readable under control to users of our solutions. Working together with other specialists, he is responsible for creating solutions to prevent from security breaches, potential cyber attacks, or system malfunctions related to natural disasters. He works as a team member with users of the database as well as developers and architects of company software and systems.

Responsibilities
- Maintains database by determining structural requirements, and developing and installing solutions.
- Ensures security of all information and computer systems and digital data.
- Ensures adherence to government regulations and guidelines for technological systems and safeguarding of data.
- Recommends upgrades and systems for purchase.
- Trouble shoots and finds solutions for computer systems issues that affect data storage as they arise.
- Defines infrastructure for design and integration of internet computing systems by analyzing information requirements, studying business operations and user-interface requirements, and directing development of physical database.
- Determines platform architecture, technology, and tools.
- Improves architecture by tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to operational requirements.
- Communicates technology needs to management teams.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional events.
