**Your New Role**

Reporting into the Lead Service Engineer, our Marine division have an exciting opportunity to bring on board an Apprentice Service Technician’s on a permanent basis at our site in Barcelona.

You as our new Apprentice Service Technician will be undertaking an Apprentice position to learn, develop and qualify as a qualified service technician within Survitec. Your role will involve you shadowing and supporting our qualified service technicians daily to service our safety products such as life rafts and life jackets.

**What You Can Expect from the Role**
**Key Responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- You will be supporting and shadowing the qualified Service Technicians to install, maintain and repair Survitec safety equipment to standard.
- You be assisting specialists set up and test new products or processes; installs complex systems according to training and competence level, seeking guidance and support where needed
- You will learn to carry out preventive maintenance inspections under supervision, developing the skills to identify and diagnose requirement for equipment and systems emergency repairs
- Develop knowledge and understanding of Survitec policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards

- Must be fluent in English both written and verbal
