As an **MCC Coordinator**, you’ll be at the heart of our real-time maintenance operations—ensuring our fleet stays safe, compliant, and on schedule.
You'll work closely with crews, engineering teams, and maintenance providers across Europe to support quick, effective decision-making—helping us keep our promise of safe, reliable, and efficient flights every day.

- Control daily maintenance operations, ensuring flawless execution and coordination across teams and time zones.
- Support flight crews and remote stations with expert technical advice, troubleshooting, and real-time solutions.
- Take the lead on AOG situations, identifying faults, initiating recoveries, and coordinating urgent part requests.
- Track and resolve Deferred Defects on time, improving aircraft availability and performance metrics.
- Keep the team updated on fleet technical status and ensure all operational limitations are clearly communicated.
- Follow up on technical delays, investigate root causes, and support resolution of intermittent faults.
- Supervise scheduled line maintenance, ensuring contractors meet Volotea’s safety and quality standards.
- Occasionally, prepare daily work packages and represent Volotea during non-routine or heavy maintenance, offering both supervision and logístical support.

**Ready to join us? What will make you succeed in this position**:

- **A solid background in Aerospace Engineering & Manteinance**: This role isn’t entry-level — we’re looking for someone who’s been in the trenches before. If you’ve managed real-time technical challenges or coordinated urgent aircraft recoveries, you’ll feel right at home in the MCC.
- **Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure**:Things move fast, and challenges come without warning. You’ll need to think clearly, act quickly, and remain composed — even when the unexpected happens at 3 a.m. in a remote station.
- **Excellent coordination and communication abilities**:You’ll be the go-to person for a lot of people: pilots, technicians, suppliers, contractors, and other internal teams. The ability to explain technical issues clearly, prioritize actions, and keep everyone aligned is essential.
- **Fluent English communication; additional languages are a plus**: Aviation is an international business. You must be confident speaking and writing in English, especially in high-stakes or time-sensitive situations. If you speak another language, it’s a welcome bonus — we work with teams all across Europe.
- **A passion for aviation and a proactive mindset**:This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys working with aircraft and wants to be part of something bigger. You’re the kind of person who steps in, takes ownership, and never waits to be told what to do.
