**The division**

Group Technology Operations (GTO) aims at designing, developing, and operating Global AXA IT products, delivering them to AXA Entities and the AXA Group, at the right level of quality of service and cost and aligned with business-driven priorities. Its missions can be summarized in four main activities: global product delivery, global product portfolio management, day-to-day operations management, and entities proximity management.

**The department / team**

You will join the Distributed & Mainframe Global Products department, which delivers final Products for the AXA’s entities (e.g POD, Z and ISeries, DC) and transversal components or intermediate products to other Products departments (e.g Cloud, Workplace...) with right quality of services.

We are relying on more than 220 people to handle product development in an agile way of working while taking care of major transformation program, as One DataCenter (aiming to define and implement the Datacenter strategic plan jointly with the AXA Entities) or ATLAS program (a strategic program mixing Cloud solutions, Core IT optimization, infrastructure modernization and technical services rationalization).

**Our main missions**
- Be a cornerstone of the Cloud Strategy and accompany the Cloud Transformation having a specific role on the design and delivery of the new Infrastructure hosting platform, within our Datacenters (SDDC-POD), while supporting the migration to target platforms
- Protect Core-It QoS over the next years by selective refresh while continuing to decommission related infrastructure
- Migrate Technical Services to the new Cloud Target
- Enhance our Ecosystem toolset introducing AIOps where it makes sense (e.g Request with Bots, Monitoring with Machine Learning)
- Define One DataCenter strategy to rationalize our DC footprint and define related right Target Operating Model
- Continue our department transformation into a global product driven organization

**About the job**

As a Virtualization & Compute Expert your main objective is to deliver on the build and operations of the Virtualization and Compute technology stack delivered by AXA GO for the entities. This open position is also a team lead position for South Europe squad within the team, driving your peers in the team to success and coordinating the activities as needed.

Main missions of the position:

- You drive forward the evolution of AXA GO’s server virtualization platform, gradually evolving to the private cloud concept and software defined datacenter capabilities
- BAU activities in the technology domain (such as VM resource expansion reduction (cpu, mem, disk), Backup checks and VM recovery, SRM or DR preparation checks & maintenance, vulnerability remediation, patching,)
- You provide level 3 to 4 support for virtualization related incidents & problems
- You drive the activities of local contractors and third parties involved in L1/L2 support
- You actively participate in projects (e.g vCF plaform setup for next-generation on premises hosting solution, Platform evolution, Core IT refresh, Security remediation & related parameter adaptation rollouts)
- You organize knowledge Transfer to colleagues
- You provide consultancy & feedback towards AXA GO markets and Service Management teams
- You are on standby (24/7) one week a month and can participate to Early Morning Operations (EMO) or planned changes out of business hours
- You participate to DRP tests campaigns
- You actively participate in audits remediations and security project
- You participate actively to the backlog management of the team (sprint plannings, reviews, status meetings,)
- You provide and share documentations
- You provide capacity management reporting and visibility on action
- Internal communication with the team colleagues and with the AXA teams

**Your Profile** About you**

You have the requested technical knowledge, and ideally 5 to 10 years’ experience in IT infrastructure landscape with a proven track record of team coordination over your past experiences.

You speak fluently English, and additionnaly French is nice to have.

Following knowledge and experience areas are mandatory:

- VMWare vSphere 6.x, vCenter 7, vCSA 7, ESXi7, vSAN, SRM, vROps, vRA, vcF, vCenter Photon OS appliances, LogInsight, NSX-T
- Windows Server 2016 and 2019
- Scripting skills and automation : PowerShell, Python, Terraform
- Basics of Windows and Linux
- Proven experience in IT production environment (incident, 24H/7 on duty, early morning organization), with DRP architecture.
- A good experience on Vmware migration & upgrade.
- Audit and security skills.
- Strong general knowledge in IT and Datacenter infrastructure architectures

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an asset:

- Hyperconvergent solution skills is appreciated Nutanix PRISM, Netapp HCI
- HP and/or IBM Hardware
- SAN HBA usage & connectivity
- LAN NIC usage & connectivity
- Directory Services (AD/LDAP awareness to enable cen
