For the last 4 decades, SITA is operating a global network of 2,500 stations worldwide, across 172 countries providing services to 250 airlines and connecting 18,000 aircraft.

We are looking for you, a people manager with Mobile network deployment experience, to look after our network in the Americas and in Europe and lead our team of experts on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
Reporting to the VP of Customer Service & Operations, the Senior Manager Radio Infrastructure Manager is overall responsible for the following key activities:

- Networks Deployment
- Networks Operations
- Networks Capacity Management
- Network availability & Performance trending

Our VHF network, which you will manage, will be a key pillar in SITA’s contribution to a greener, more sustainable aviation through the enablement of flight and air traffic optimization.

**Your mission**
- Manage a multi-cultural team of about 10+ VHF and Infrastructure experts spread across two key regions: Americas and Europe. Your responsibilities as People Manager include:

- Setting Goals (timely and on-quality)
- Focusing on People Development
- Implementing regular check-ins
- Providing and receiving feedback
- Ensuring SITA Office presence
- Managing hiring when needed.
- Deploy stations ensuring site survey, selection of location, ordering of equipment.
- Manage the equipment lifecycle: stations monitoring, spares management, repair management.
- Ensure supply chain management for deployment and maintenance of the infrastructure: Logistics, Contracts (Airport/Premises, Vendors, Manufacturers, etc)
- Ensure a consistent level of service to achieve adherence to client Service Level Agreements.
- Establish and oversee operational practices for monitoring and supporting the environment, along with performance metrics and service levels that meet the business needs
- Lead the management of incidents through resolution.
- Navigate demanding internal and external clients and push toward project milestones.
- Develop accurate and timely communication with the other key stakeholders in the Customer Service & Operations, Engineering and Technology, Product organizations and the SFA Leadership Team when required.
- Develop process improvement for reporting, operational procedures, and tools assessment, responsible for SLAs development and reporting on VHF metrics.

**Your experience**
- Strong People Manager experience
- 5+ years’ experience in telecommunications in large scale
- Strong experience in network deployment, experience in cellular network deployments is a plus
- Experience in Air Transport is a plus
- Knowledge of network protocols and hardware, RF/VHF communications & technologies is an asset
- Formal project management training/certification/experience desired
- Experience in implementing service delivery metrics and reporting
- Fluent in English
