**We're looking for**someone**motivated, self-starter who is able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, and to be able to derive conclusions and decisions from a large set of data, someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail and an overall commitment to excellence.
**What you'll be spending your time on**:
- **Sanctions Screening and Alert Management**:
- Conduct first-line reviews of sanctions watchlist alerts generated by automated systems.
- Accurately disposition false positives and escalate potential true matches.
- **Escalation and Risk Management**:
- Escalate potential sanctions issues to the Sanctions Officer.
- Identify and flag potentially sanctions and/or adverse media-related risks.
- **Research and Analysis**:
- Utilize Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools to validate or disprove potential matches.
- Analyze relationships and business activities to identify possible sanctions and reputational risks.
**Have you done this kind of stuff?**
- **1-2 years experience in relevant field**
- **Communication**:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of English - Must
- Ability to create clear, concise written summaries with actionable recommendations and conclusions.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work effectively with cross-departmental teams.
- Lead or contribute to ongoing projects within the organization.
- **Attention to Detail**:
- Meticulous in analyzing alerts and ensuring the accuracy of decisions.
- Advanced deduction and analytical skills
- **Technical Proficiency**:
- Basic knowledge with Excel
- SQL- Must
- **Problem Solving**:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for evaluating complex risk scenarios.
- Flexible attitude and ability to cope with changing requirements.
