**MAIN PURPOSE**:
The Iberia Medical Department member responsible for all medical aspects within the RCU cross-functional team relating to the transition of key Norgine pre-authorisation assets into the post authorisation space.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Be the Iberia medical lead for pipeline and newly launched products inputting into and delivering on the strategy for the brands - with particular focus on launch activities.
- Be the Iberia medical lead in the cross-functional launch team relating to the pipeline products
- Develop and manage relationships with Key opinion leaders, patient organisations and professional groups relating to Pipeline and newly launched products
- Review and sign-off of promotional and non-promotional material to ensure compliance with the Codes of Practice
- Support the Medical Director in carrying out the day to day operational activities of the Medical Department where appropriate
- Provide input to Norgine Global projects as agreed from time to time on a defined basis.
- Work to ensure compliance in all Spain & Portugal procedures including GxP, Codes of Practice and medicines legislation.
- Maintain high standards of technical proficiency
- Understand concepts of pharmacovigilance (PV)
- Responsible for medical training of Norgine staff relating to Pipeline and Newly launched products
**Requirements**:
- Physician or pharmacist or biologist.
- More than 3 years clinical experience (physician) or equivalent for pharmacist and biologist.
- Pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs experience essential (3 years minimum) predominantly affiliate based
- with experience in country launch activities.
- Customer-facing experience and experience with managing KOL stakeholder relationships.
- Farmaindustria code of practice knowledge as medical signatory status.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, Excel; conversant with key sites on Internet; conversant with key medical databases and able to implement basic search strategies.
- Contribute effectively in the team, respond positively to requests, engage in team work activities and objectives.
- Plan, identify priorities, organise activities and monitor progress to ensure team and individual objectives are met.
- Prioritise and plan work with an appropriate sense of urgency and enthusiasm to cope effectively with obstacles and pressure.
- Effective communicator both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to communicate complex issues and data to wide range of professional and lay audiences, adapting message and style to suit.
- Respond positively to change by adapting day to day activity and work procedures as appropriate.
- Seek and pursue opportunities to develop within job to perform current role effectively and progress role further
- Keeps up to date with the new data and changing healthcare environment.
- Flexibles and adapts well to change.
- Experience in Oncology and or Rare diseaseTherapeutic Area.
- Preferredo Membership/ Fellowship qualification desirable but not essential.
