SAP S4/hana Architect

Our Client is globally deploying its new back-office cross-functional system processes - covering Finance, SBS, Supply Chain and Trade across all GBUs - through the implementation of a Global ERP (SHIFT project) using SAP S4/HANA technology. This Transformation program aims at: - Enabling Global Business Units (GBU) & Global Functions with Analytics - Common analytics by GBU and for Global functions to improve performance and cost management - Transversal data consolidation as well as more granular analyses - Common budget tools by GBU - Facilitating a seamless integration of planning and actual data setting-up automation in reporting to enable Global Shared Services (SBS) - Support SBS strategy by implementing an end-to-end approach (e.g. P2P fully covered by integrated Group solutions from eBuy to AP Invoicing, T&E, etc.) - Opportunity to consolidate new activities in Shared Services (e.g. Master Data Management, Credit Management) and to develop global Shared Services organization models (e.g. T&E) - Support reporting factories - Simplifying processes and users’ experience - State-of-the-art global systems ensuring an end-to-end process integration while providing a simplified user’s experience - Major changes to reporting or processes handled centrally at once - One source of truth on master data and a common automated internal control framework - Improved integration or divestment capabilities through a standardized methodology JOB SUMMARY Within Solution Delivery, the Functional Integration Architect is responsible for ITS of the overall functional integration of the Shift platform. Therefore, he/she will work very closely with all functional and transversal streams and project management of the program. The Functional Integration architect is responsible for the overall consistency of the solution across the different functional Streams (Finance, Controlling, Trade & Sales, Supply Chain Integration & Interco, MDM), as well as for the design of specific parts of the solution identified as Integration topics. He/she will bring his/her expertise of business processes and SAP solutions, best practices and possible improvements. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - In this context the main duties of the Functional Integration Architect are: Ensure that risks and issues are identified, formalized & communicated to the Functional Integration Lead or/and Project Management - Present verbal and written reports for the Integration stream defining action plans, issues and resolutions to appropriate levels of management - Ensure that risks and issues are identified, formalized & communicated to the Functional Integration Lead or/and Project Management - Organize work with implementation partner for integration stream; Follow-up on resources On-/ Off-boarding and escalate on Quality issues. - Ensure consistency of design of Integration topics and adherence to Standard and Core Model guiding principles - Ensure Solution documentation & capitalization of knowledge; contribute within team to Knowledge transfer and Upskilling as required; provide inputs & proposals for documentation templates & deliverable formats evolutions. - Be the first point of contact for Scoping studies & new projects / initiatives for Integration topics and to ensure overall consistency across streams from a functional point of view - Contribute to continuous improvement by keeping informed on innovations & contributing to Proof of Concepts / Prototypes Functional Integration - He/she will orchestrate and partner with the Solution Delivery functional streams, Business enablement + Local SMEs to ensure that complex and key functional integration topics are identified in advance and addressed/documented to ensure that the solution is consistent to end-to-end, scalable and best practice. Also ensure the further design, build and deployments across streams is consistent from a SAP functional standpoint. - He/she will provide the over-arching functional support to the transversal streams to ensure that their design & system build and the deployments across stream is consistent from a SAP functional design standpoint on: - Analytics - Authorizations - Process controls - He/she will support and work with the architecture stream to identify and address technico-functional topics. - He/she will support the Functional Integration lead or project management on all kind of integration topics and play a role in taskforce of key/hot topics: In particular: - Coordinate a list of Initial assessment/Fit Gap sessions for major roll outs (ensure full coverage of integration topics & cross stream integration) - Configuration & RICEFW : own Integration solution items (List to be completed : Trading partners, Org structures, Tax conditions;) - Design: champion/lead cross-stream integration topics for Design: mobilize contributing streams and identify/follow up on "orphan" topics **REQUIREMENTS**: EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND - Higher education (master’s de
