**In **ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE & SECURITY** develops safer and more reliable defense systems through technology, including **unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), sensing systems, command and control software, and aiming systems**.

We are looking for a UAV Design Engineer** **with the mission design, develop and optimize UAV systems and components.

**Tasks to be performed**:

- Aerodynamic and systems design of UAV platforms, both fixed-wing and rotary-wing.
- Preparation of technical and manufacturing documentation for UAV platforms.
- Assembly of prototypes.
- Preparation and execution of UAV test plans, both in the laboratory and in flight.
- Aeronautical or industrial engineering.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in UAV platforms.
- Experience with Catia or SolidWorks design software.
- Knowledge of aerodynamic calculations and flight mechanics is essential.
- Knowledge of assembly, manufacturing and maintenance processes for UAV platforms.
- Knowledge of drone piloting is valued.
- Knowledge of aerodynamic simulation tools (XFLR5 / FLUENT / OPENFOAM) is valued.
- Level B2-C1 English.
