**Your role**
As SAP PaaS Service Manager you will steer the SAP platform team and ensure a successful delivery to our clients. Within this important role, you will be owning the successful service delivery and you will be responsible for ensuring successful collaboration with our IT, customers and partners.
With your SAP Basis knowledge and experience you will develop, together with the rest of the team, the standards and practices that direct the day-to-day operations of the SAP Platform. This includes creating current and future state architectures, solutions, and providing guidance and sharing to the technical team while working closely with other IT, suppliers, and business partners.
The SAP PaaS Service Manager directs the technical activities, analysis, and design of the SAP Platform service.

Drives technical decisions, reviews, and is accountable in delivering enterprise level technical solutions while ensuring they meet Zurich IT architectural best practice, compliance, security quality standards and business requirements.
This position will work with and lead internal and external team resources, establish, and ensure adherence to Zurich standards, processes, and procedures.

**main responsibilities** will involve
- Oversee and guide all activities of the SAP Platform Service team.
- Ensure SAP ecosystem is stable, performant and secure. Always updated and with the right resources.
- Ensure all the platform related requests are properly treated by the team, following the defined standards and procedures.
- Orchestrate between different teams (internals and externals) to resolve any issue.
- Detect gaps or improvement opportunities in the SAP Platform domain.
- Coordinate and reviews SLA, Service Cost, Service Staffing with our internal teams and partners
- Offer customer service & maintain customer relationships.
- Collaborates across the organization, as well with our partners.
**Your Skills and Experience**
**To be successful in this role you will ideally have**
- Min 3 years of professional experience in a similar role with a solid delivery experience as SAP Service Manager, SLA management, service engineering, building trustworthy relationships with clients and partners
- At least 7 years of SAP Basis experience
- Knowledge or experience in SAP on Cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Business proficiency in English, any other language considered an advantage
- University degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or related field of study
- Very good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Passion for technology, customer service, efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
- Good team player, willingness to assist others and share expertise
