We are looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager to join Assembly in Barcelona. This is an opportunity to join a market leading digital performance agency with a significant global footprint. We need Media specialists with a strong technical background, an eye for detail and, perhaps most significantly, individuals who aren’t afraid to challenge the status-quo.
Media Teams has been set up to allow people to work in an area of digital marketing that is aligned to their strengths. People who want to be more cross-channel focused will be able to move to that type of role and also people who want to be more specialist in one channel will be able to focus on that type of role.

**Requirements**:
As a Media Manager, you will be working within a Media Team to provide support across all channels relevant to each client you are assigned to both paid and organic channels. You will be an active manager in the team to ensure the Executives & Trainees are developed within their roles, delivering great work and adding value to all aspects of their roles.
You will also be responsible for ensuring clients campaigns both paid and organic are performing, adapting strategies based on the most up to date insights. Being the lead in strategy review sessions such as quarterly and yearly reviews. These meetings should inform the main clients stakeholders on all relevant insights from the various activities, ensuring they understand the main insights learned. Ensure the clients are being educated on the most up to date industry developments, ensure they understand how these may affect our strategies going forward. Most importantly you must be the main driver to increased performance across all relevant areas you are responsible for, adapting the strategy across all channels to increase performance for the clients business.

**The fundamental objectives of the Media Manager include**:

- Working closely with the Strategy Teams and client to develop and run successful Media campaigns and optimisations
- Taking ownership of the strategic client relationship
- Management of your direct reports to develop and guide them to gain promotions
- Analysing data across all relevant channels to produce actionable insights that meets and exceeds the clients business objectives
- Analysing and producing/developing campaigns
- Actively seek creative and innovative media solutions
- Managing client budgets and project managing campaigns to ensure they are delivered on schedule and avoid missing deadlines
- Developing a trusting and productive relationships with clients. Ensuring the managers/executives in the team produce great daily, weekly and monthly meetings.
- Developing effective quarterly and yearly review sessions with key client stakeholders
- Responding to enquiries in a timely fashion and building trust by working in a consultative capacity using your expert industry knowledge
- Advising on digital marketing strategies and helping the new business team by taking active roles in pitches
- Working closely with the key functions within Clients Teams such as Account Management, Strategy and Business Intelligence.
- Innovative and highly motivated professional with strong technical and digital marketing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate across all formats in an effective manner
- Ability to take ownership and lead account strategy
- Experience using Media platforms is essential i.e. Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, Facebook, DV360
- Passionate about Digital Marketing and is actively keeping up to date with the latest developments
- Excited to play an active role as a leader in Assembly, presenting to the company at Meetups, working groups or weekly newsletter comminucations
- Good understanding of best practice across key platforms
- Good understanding of third-party platforms
- Comfortable assessing staffing needs or delivering new staff inductions
- Excellent technical and analytical skills (HTML, Javascript, SQL or other language skills a bonus)
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach but with a close eye on detail and quality of communication
- A track record of developing great client relationships, and building trust
- Understands how to upsell and cross-sell to clients
