- **Envisaged Job Starting Date**:July 2025A predoctoral position is offered at CIC biomaGUNE in the Molecular and Functional Biomarker lab, focusing on the development of robuts Deep Learning models for accelereation 4D flow Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) data. The project involves interdisciplinary work including imaging science (MRI, computing science, AI-based analysis tools.
- A predoctoral fellowship is available in the group of Dr. Jesús Ruiz-Cabello at the Molecular and Functional Biomarker Laboratory (CIC biomaGUNE). The objective of this position is to develop innovative and robust pipelines for generating paired datasets of fully-sampled and accelerated 4D Flow MRI with ground truth blood velocities as essentil training data for DL models.

The selected predoctoral researcher will engage in interdisciplinary activities within the framework of the IKUR-funded project _Ikur 2025-2026 HPC&AI_.

Responsibilities will include the development a comprehensive pipeline for generating synthetic 4D Flow MRI training data, alongside novel reconstruction and super-resolution methods. Our approach will enable robust model training for accelerated 4D Flow MRI, potentially reducing scan times to a few minutes while maintaining diagnostic accuracy. This is a work in collaboration with BCBL and EHU/UPV.

**Required Education Level**:
Master in Computer Science, Master in Biomedical Imaging, Master in Biomedical Physics.

**Required Skills/Qualifications**:
Experience with Python for data analysis, scripting or automation tasks.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborative coding practices.

Fluent in English (B2 level or equivalent)

- Full time predoctoral contract (Initial contract of 12 months renewable ).
