Hospitality Commercial and Operational Director

The One Eden Group of companies (located across the Costa Del Sol) is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Commercial Director for its hospitality business with additional oversight of small development real estate projects.

This will be a very unique role for a hard-working and experienced professional -who’s role will encompass the following areas:
**1. Areas of Functional Responsibility**:

- Hospitality:

- Working with our unit manager (Tarifa) to implement the commercial strategy: This involves setting revenue goals, identifying target markets, and creating plans to attract and retain guests.
- Revenue Management: With the unit manager to oversee pricing strategies, inventory management, and yield management techniques to optimize room rates, restaurant spend and maximize occupancy.
- Manage Expansion: Liaise with local authorities to gain appropriate permissions to expand our foot-print, facilities and services currently and as we expand
- Food and Beverage:

- Management: Working with our unit managers (Alcaidesa) to manage the restaurants and comply with all regulations necessary for establishments- Business Development: Be involved in the setting of any new establishments that will arise in our Commercial Real estate
- Small Real Estate Projects:

- Expand property portfolio: To take ownership of lower value property assets, across the Costa de Sol, and lead the process of maximising their resale value-through the planning, construction and sale process

**2. Cross functional Team Leadership & Management**:

- Lead and mentor the diverse team of management professionals
- Set performance targets, monitor progress, and provide feedback and coaching.

**3. Cross Functional Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage the commercial budget.
- Track and analyse revenue and expenditure data to ensure profitability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency measures.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic planning and analytical skills
- Revenue management expertise
- An understanding of local planning regulations-from Town Halls to the Costas to the National Parks
- Financial acumen
- Customer service orientation
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Proficiency in using relevant software and technology

In essence, the Commercial Director is responsible for driving the commercial success of the business by maximizing revenue, optimizing profitability, and ensuring regulatory compliance
