As Project Engineer - Automation* in Engineering Services, you’ll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.- As an Project Engineer - Automation*, a typical day might include the following:- Designing automation solutions for customers
- Commissioning projects in the field
- Extensive networking and programming
- Development of relay/controller settings
- Preparation of functional design documentation
- Working alongside Project Managers, Technical Leads, and other Engineers from other focus areas- This job might be for you if:- You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field that has equipped you with strong foundational knowledge
- You have experience working with communication protocols such as IEC-61850, DNP, and Modbus
- You understand and have experience with SCADA
- You have power system/substation automation experience
- You are willing to travel up to 50% (more typically 25%)
