Waste Water Treatment EHS Engineer

Job Summary
- He/she must be aware and identification of new environmental requirements, trends and request of Benicarlo Site.
- He/she must follow up daily effluent liquid waste and WWTP data analysis and all activities related with day to day operation of the plant. Provide on regular basis information of environmental parameters analyzed to EHS manager.
- He/she is responsible for the definition and maintenance of Environmental operation procedures (WWTP, EVAPO, EPC, RTO, Boilers, residues, etc)
- He/she is responsible to Organize and follow up all the events occurred in the WWT or Evapo, EPC, Boilers, residues, RTO plant.
- Maintain and update all the procedures regarding Environmental, Health and safety department included in the SGI
- He/she must comply with and enforce compliance with corporate H&S standards, and strictly follow the instructions and safety rules indicated in the work instructions and/or the work equipment manufacturer's manual, and use the Personal Protective Equipment provided by the company.
- Also warn the staff of any anomaly related to the production and the correct health and safety conditions in the workplace, being its power to stop the work being done, and proceed to its resolution.

The key focus areas of the role are:

- Supervise real compliment of environmental defined process.
- Execute Environmental procedures stablished.
- Producing monthly site updates to Corporate group & writing informs.
- Producing site reports to local and national authorities
- Goals and Key Performance Indicators follow-up of WWTP and Environmental requirements described in AAI
- Non-conformances, corrective actions follow-up
- IMS Procedures: reviewing and update
- Guarantee the Health and Safety of the WWTP operators reviewing periodically their work conditions
- Sustainability Data Support: Global Reporting
- Waste management: Operating monitoring
- Environmental Management System ISO 14001 coordinator
- Keep updated environmental impact evaluation and prevention plans
- Ensure control, monitoring and improvement of the processes from the point of view of yields and costs.
- Supervise that the information provided to SAP is correct.
- Propose improvements in equipment, work methods, safety and environment.
- Ensure the training of WWT personnel (technical issues, Safety, Quality and Environment).
- Collaborate with other departments involved in the proper planning of the production of the plant in the short and medium term.
- In an emergency, fulfill the tasks assigned in the P.E.I. or P.E.E.
- Participation in incidents investigations

- Degree in Chemistry, Environmental or equivalent.
- Risk prevention basic degree (50 h)
- English and Spanish fluid level
- Trained on ISO managements systems: 9000, 14000, 45000
- Trained on environmental legal requirements
- Experience in emergency evacuation procedures, training, and practice drills.
- ISOs internal auditor
