We are looking for a highly motivated Facultative Underwriter for Casualty single risks in Iberia and its interests abroad. The dynamics of these markets require a strong focus on business development, including demanding new products and solutions.
**Your job**
- Management of new business projects and initiatives
- In collaboration with team members, proactive business development in co-creation with clients and brokers, providing tailor made solutions.
- Developing new client relationships and strengthen existing ones to achieve expected growth and profit contribution
- Risk assessment, pricing and acceptance of Casualty single risks, including definition of reinsurance conditions, in accordance with internal underwriting guidelines, targets and client strategies.
- Achieving planned underwriting results for new and existing business.
**Your profile**
- 3 years of underwriting experience in an (re)insurance company or broker.
- Bachelor degree.
- Knowledge of relevant software such as Excel, Power BI as well as underwriting monitoring and reporting tools
- Strong client focus and interest in developing tailor made solutions
- Preparedness to take ownership, proactive, highly self-motivated and target-oriented
- Proven intercultural competence and team player in multidisciplinary environments
- Business-fluent (written and spoken) Spanish and English.
