**Santander AM Infrastructure & Energy Alternative Investments **team is looking for a Investment & Portfolio Manager, based in our Madrid office.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a Investment & Portfolio Manager - Alternative Investment you will supporting the Infrastructure & Energy Investment strategy as part of its leadership teams with credit, valuation, risk management and legal negotiations

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
Lead the preliminary structuring and credit and risk analysis for the different transactions, helping the Investment team on the elaboration of teasers, Info Memos, Term Sheets, etc. for the different Equity and Debt transactions on the Infrastructure & Energy market. Lead the execution and implementation of Investment Committees´ decisions in the daily activities of the different funds. Lead the negotiation with banks and other financial institutions to obtain financing (subscription lines and NAV financing) for several of our debt alternative funds Help on the identification of potential investors for the Infrastructure & Energy Alternative funds. Help and support on the origination of Infrastructure & Energy transactions for the Infrastructure Alternative Funds having constant dialogue with advisors, companies, other asset managers and banks. Support the management team in the search and definition of new alternative Infrastructure & Energy investment strategies.

EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years professional with experience on Infrastructure & Energy finance within an alternative finance provider or Top Tier Investment Bank.

EDUCATION

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Solid international experience.
- Strong knowledge on Infrastructure & Energy Financing and Investment.
- Must be proficient in English and Spanish. French or German is a plus
- Willing to travel and work in a very intense and demanding business.

OTHER INFORMATION
- Excellent attention to detail to credit, legal and structuring legal frameworks is a must.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities, building trust with senior management and peers is a must. A self-motivated character and focused to achieve objectives and over deliver objectives is a must.
- Rigorous analysis skills in risk management and organization are a must
