This role is based in Madrid and have the option of working at the studio and/or remotely.

**Responsibilities**
- Populate the world with VFX, independently or together with your department, as well as Designers, Artists or Animators.
- Implement desired visuals, including complex shader development, according to the game's art style.
- Create VFX shaders with node-based unreal material editor.
- Create your own assets, textures, PBR materials, simulations, etc. to create outstanding VFX.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical art production issues.
- Work with the team to develop systems and tools to streamline art processes, workflows, and pipelines.
- Participate in pre-production planning to determine and address technical design requirements and issues.

**Qualifications / Skills**:

- VFX-related degree and/or comparable professional experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in video games creating real-time, next generation games and at least 1 shipped game.
- Must be a wizard with Unreal Engine.
- Advanced knowledge of programming theory and Blueprints.
- Complete understanding of 3D graphics principles and procedures.
- Highly skilled with Adobe Package, Maya, and/or another 3D suites.
- Competent with particle systems Niagara and/or Cascade.
- Excellent communication and time management.
- Desirable:

- Computer programming/scripting experience is a plus.
- Understanding or experience with 2D VFX animation a plus
