**Data Warehouse Engineer - up to £/€90,000 - Barcelona, Spain or London, UK**
A leading social gaming company is looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer to work on a greenfield project building a data warehouse for its C-Level team to view reports on finance and gaming performance. The Data Warehouse Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing the DWH, dashboards and data pipelines for real-time streaming of data.

**Responsibilities**
- As the Data Warehouse Engineer, you will be responsible for selecting and integrating any Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide the requested capabilities
- You will be monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes
- The data warehouse engineer will define data retention policies
- Enhancing & improving the quality of the company’s datalLake
- Implementing ETL process
- Designing and planning data orchestration and structure
- Leading a small team of dwh engineers
**Key Skills**
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle and experience integrating data architecture and data Governance into the analytics lifecycle
- Strong competency in data modelling and data design, this includes logical and physical modelling, partitioning strategies for large tables, and other database optimisations
- Solid experience with relational databases
- Understanding of pros and cons of different data warehouse methodologies and architectures (Kimball/Inmon/Data Lake/Hybrid)
- Experience designing Star, Snowflake Schemas, Dimensional Data Modelling, SCD (Slowly Changing Dimensions), and CDC (Change Data Capture)
