Our search API reach peaks of more than 50.000 requests per second, each one consisting of tens or hundreds of hotels, with continued expansion. We have a very strong technical team from which you will be able to learn, but are encouraged by new ideas and fresh thinking that you will bring with you. **How you will make an impact?** The Business Analyst - Rate Strategy Distribution, will have ownership of the requirements to be developed to keep the integrity of our rate distribution (online presence and offline). You must have a passion for e-commerce, and a deep understanding of the online market in the travel and lodging marketplace. Key elements to this role include, but not limited to: - Identify the limitations of our distribution at Rate Plan level and the clients API changes to offer the right portfolio that will avoid disparities or Best Rate Guarantee issues (BRGs) from the source. - Plan and develop the project idea that will lead us to a clean and safe rate distribution for our partners. - Coordinate with the WebBeds commercial regions, the implementation of any necessary changes in the current processes to achieve the BRG commitment to our partners. - Organising, managing, and attending team meetings amongst those dependants on the PM Tool’s success. - Project planning and user story refinement for the PM Tool. - Documentation management of the PM Tool evolvement. - Communicating proposed solutions to stakeholders based on the analysis undertaken for the PM Tool’s success. **The skills we would love to see in your suitcase** - Strong data driven mindset and analytical Problem-Solving capabilities. - Interpersonal and consultative skills. Experience negotiating business requirements. - Excellent XML feed capabilities and understanding of extranet management. - Deep understanding of online presence and of rate parity obligations and impacts. - Experience targeting both B2B & B2C clients across online channels. - Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. - The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. - A bachelor's degree in business or related field. - 2+ years of Hotel Rate Distribution and/or Hospitality Commercial Management experience. - Proficiency in English.
