Consolidation Manager

**FUNCTIONS**: The Consolidation Manager will oversee the enterprise financial consolidation process, inter-company transaction review, profit eliminations, corporate consolidation accounting, consolidated general ledger, and preparation of group consolidated financial statements under IFRS. Duties and responsibilities: - Provide support to subsidiary accounting teams and staff in other locations, overseeing local company audits and intercompany activities. - Prepare monthly group consolidated financial statements. - Develop and maintain accounting policies, implementing standardized practices. - Address complex accounting and reporting issues, preparing relevant memoranda as needed. - Maintain accuracy of intercompany loans and related transactions across the group. - Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts. - Coordinate year-end close process with internal stakeholders and external auditors. - Provide technical accounting guidance to accounting teams. - Assist senior management with ad-hoc tasks.
Skills, experience and knowledge requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent. - Minimum of 5 years practical experience in intercompany transactions, revaluation, multi-currency consolidations, and financial reporting. - Advanced PC skills, especially Excel (Pivots, V-lookups, etc.). - Prior experience with ERP systems, e.g., SAP and Oracle. SAP Financial Consolidation is a plus. - Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), public accounting experience preferred. - Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and adjust to changing needs. - Comfortable with strict deadlines and high-pressure situations. - Proficiency in balance closures, executive presentations, accurate calculations. - Excellent communication skills, adept at building relationships with stakeholders. - Ability to navigate a complex environment with financial challenges and competing priorities.
