**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions, revenue accounting, and internal controls, as well as the daily auditing, verification, and reconciliation of revenue-related processes. Your daily tasks will include:
- General auditing and record-keeping.
- Revenue audits and DRR, refunds and payments, complimentary rooms, and food and beverage checks.
- Voids, discounts, and vouchers.
- Cash reconciliations.
- End-of-period procedures.
- Compliance and reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Supporting monthly closing processes and account reconciliations.
**Requirements**:
- You will have working knowledge of various software programmess. It´s a plus if you have experience in Opera, Simphony or Netsuite.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.)
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to handle confidential information.
- You must have a minimum of five years' experience in the finance department in the hotel industry, preferably in 5-star hotels. Knowledge of the PGC and Spanish taxes is a must
- Degree in Business Administration and/or Business Administration
- Fluent in Spanish and English, further languages desirable
- Elegible to work in EU
- Passionate about hospitality and an enthusiastic demeanor, with a desire to represent the OKU philosophy in your professional environment
