Industrial Procurement Lead

As a Procurement Manager you will be responsible for ensuring alignment, coverage and deployment of global category strategies to maximize Global Procurement value contribution and total cost of ownership, while ensuring a proper alignment & contribution to Industrial Area priorities. This role ensures compliance with policies, strategies and processes, manages stakeholder needs, drives innovation and contributes to the organization’s growth in addition to supervising the procurement industrial function. Managing supplier relation and performance, you will support Global Lead Buyers in executing sourcing projects, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, risk management, contract execution and business case presentations, while capturing industrial requirements.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Act as a Procurement Business Partner by providing a link between procurement and business stakeholders to ensure strategies are tailored towards the business whilst also ensuring alignment with procurement procedures
- Engage internal stakeholders and suppliers as needed to support the development of effective category plans
- Manage stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout the end-to-end sourcing process. Provide professional procurement advice to senior stakeholders to ensure capital and revenue budgets are spent in accordance with budget strategies
- Act as the main interlocutor of Industrial Global Procurement function (local and international) to facilitate objectives alignment and action plans follow-up to the Industrial Operations Director
- Lead and develop Industrial lead buyers, based on the company values and high performance team capabilities
- Support Global Lead Buyers in the strategic management of their categories, like conducting demand analysis, supplier market analysis and category analysis
- Support global lead buyers in executing sourcing strategy, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations, risk management and contract execution according to Group Procurement guidelines
- Ensure all purchased services/goods required are appropriately negotiated and contracts bring competitive advantage to the Company
- Support lead buyers in evaluating supply chain disruption risk, defining and following up Risk Mitigation Strategies
- Actively engaged cross-functionally and with industrial business leaders as a strategic partner to drive down lifecycle cost while enhancing customers’ experience, product quality, increasing supply chain flexibility and productivity
- Encourage approaches to measure outcomes achieved through the implementation of category plans and to install a culture of continuous improvement
- Identify and resolve supplier performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work with suppliers to bring innovative solutions for unmet needs
- Ensure the correct implementation of the Company procurement policies, processes, systems, tools and procedures and be responsible for their compliance.
- Support procurement in the delivery of effective Contract Management
- Act as super user of procurement tools with the ability to give support to lead buyers and internal stakeholders

**Required Qualifications**:

- Educated to University degree in Economics and/or Engineering (mandatory)
- Experience in sourcing, contracting & project management for a period of minimum 6 years (mandatory)
- Experience in managing people
- Manufacturing experience background is a plus
- Sourcing experience with a pharmaceutical company, Fortune 500 company, or a leading consultancy
