AMW Capital Leasing currently comprises of 22 branches and is in the process of expanding its network to serve our customers better

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate the credit worthiness of lease/ loan proposals.
- Approve recommend credit proposals by ensuring risks are within the risk appetite of the company and honor the timelines of internal Service Level Agreements (SLA s)
- Ensure all credit underwritings are strictly complied with credit policy manual and regulatory directions.
- Recommend credit files that require higher level of approval, with observations, suggestions, and recommendations.
- Conduct credit training programs to sales/marketing staff periodically.
- Prepare analytical reports for Credit Policy Committee.
- Support to review & update company’s Credit Policy Manual.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a diploma in credit management from a recognized institution with full or part qualification from a professional body such as CIMA, CA, IBSL.
- Minimum 06 years of executive experience in credit underwriting in a NBFI (Non-Banking Financial Institute) or a bank.
- Ability to make right decisions under pressure within the given deadlines with strong work ethic.
- Possess excellent analytics skills and sound knowledge about secondhand vehicle market in Sri Lanka
- Excellent communication, writing and PR skills.
