We are seeking a talented and customer obsessed Procurement Market Analyst who has the passion to tackle ambiguous and challenging problems by inventing new ways to solve them.

The Procurement Excellence, Benchmarking and Market Intelligence team provide the Global Procurement leadership and internal customers (categories, supplier management, supplier diversity, cost engineering, procurement excellence) with timely, accurate and actionable supplier and market intelligence on supplier and market analysis (profiling, exposure and risk, financial rating, best cost country), and market trends (raw material prices, price forecast, macro-analysis, labor rates, sustainability).

Key job responsibilities
- Conduct primary market research activities including tools, financial data, supplier profiling and risk analysis.
- Develop tailored sub-category Market Intelligence reports, generates valuable insights for our internal customers.
- Support in developing raw material database.
- Analyze and classify raw material spend, and continuously maintain the internal database for a unified reliable source of data.
- Regular communication with senior management on progress, risks and change control.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly synthesize, distil and draw conclusions on large amounts of data.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Procurement knowledge.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Solid problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
