**JOB PURPOSE**

We are looking for the SAP Finance Solution Architect to join our Global Finance Services and Controlling Applications Team. The position is in one of our locations in Europe and reporting to Basel, Switzerland.

Description Experienced and innovative SAP Finance Solution Architect specializing in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process with a robust background in designing and implementing end-to-end finance solutions.

Brings deep expertise in invoicing, taxation, dunning, and cash collection, combined with hands-on integration across SAP FI, SD, and CO modules. Recognized for a proactive, solution-driven mindset and a strong commitment to remaining actively involved in system configuration, testing, and deployment activities.

In this role, you'll take ownership of designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP finance solutions while playing a hands-on role in key global transformation initiatives.

As part of Straumann's finance transformation journey, including a shift to SAP S/4HANA, you'll contribute to rolling out and improving core processes across our global network. You'll work independently with stakeholders, coordinate with external suppliers, and have the freedom to innovate.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of finance-related SAP processes, with focus on customer invoicing, taxation, cash collection and dunning.
- Ensure seamless process integration between SAP FI and SD modules for accurate and efficient order-to-cash operations.
- Manage and configure cash collection processes, including implementation of online payment methods and automation of incoming payment matching.
- Integrate SAP systems with banking infrastructure for electronic payments, bank statement processing, and reconciliation.
- Oversee and coordinate with external Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to enable secure and compliant digital payment solutions.
- Provide deep functional and technical expertise in SAP FI, ensuring comprehensive financial data integrity and process efficiency.
- Play a key role in global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, supporting design, configuration, testing, and deployment phases.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders to align SAP finance solutions with global business strategies and local compliance needs.
- Maintain a hands-on role in solution delivery, including configuration, testing, and support, ensuring real-world execution excellence.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance standards
- Mentor and provide technical guidance on SAP best practices

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on finance and controlling processes, including a minimum of 5 years dedicated to O2C finance
- Deep expertise in SAP implementation and configuration
- Practical experience implementing cash collection processes and online payment integrations with external service providers
- Proven track record configuring and managing bank interfaces and automating reconciliation via electronic bank statements
- Hands-on experience working with Payment Service Providers and external finance vendors in a global environment
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects
- Proactive, customer-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain a strong hands-on approach
- Strong leadership in solution design, workshop facilitation, and documentation of architecture and integration flows
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally (5-10%)
