And this is our QA Engineer role for those who want to turn ideas into reality using test scripts, automation, and maybe a little magic.
Tasks in the role
- Maintaining existing autotests and creating new ones.
- Testing Airflow tasks and DAGs.
- End-to-end data pipeline testing.
- Data-gathering services testing.
- Testing data at each pipeline stage.
- Developing and improving testing processes.
- Developing a testing infrastructure.
- Taking an active part in technical discussions of upcoming tasks and defining corner cases.
**Requirements**:
Who we are looking for
- Relevant experience 3+ years.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies.
- Experience with implementing data quality assurance practices.
- Experience with test automation.
- Good experience in Python.
- Experience with databases and SQL.
- Strong experience with Linux.
- Soft skills: responsible, ability to work independently, transparency in daily routine work, and proactivity.
- You have experience with Clickhouse.
- Experience with Go programming language.
- Understanding of data quality approaches and data analytics.
- Experience with Airflow, GitLab CI, Docker, and Ansible.
- Experience with Bash scripts.

A bit about the team
We are creating an internal product—search query analytics. This is collecting, storing, transforming, and transmitting a huge amount of data for other teams inside Semrush. A huge amount of data that’s about tens of billions of rows per month in the final product.
Working with us is a step toward development in Big Data, Data Analytics, and Data Mining.
Our team includes the PO, two Data Engineers, and three Backend Developers. We also work closely with the Data Science team. New challenging tasks keep coming, and we are looking for a new colleague.
