Data Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled
**Data Solution Architect** to join our international Data and Business Intelligence organization.

**Your role**

**As a Data Solution Architect**
**your main responsibilities will involve**
- Participate in architecture communities and architecture governance.
- Create solution designs and estimates for data product and project proposals.
- Follow up on proposals with detailed designs and technically leading in implementations.
- Contribute to blueprint / architecture pattern creation to enhance re-useability.
- Work with an international team, engaging with different stakeholders and IT colleagues from different cultures, producing results that work according to standards and best practices.
- Writing technical documentation such as architecture specification.

**Your Skills and Experience**

**As a Data Solution Architect, your skills and qualifications will ideally include**:

- University level education or equivalent.
- Experience architecting data solutions.
- Experience with data models for data solutions.
- Experience with data pipeline tools, especially one or more of Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Databricks and AWS Glue.
- Database and lake experience with one or more of Azure SQL, DB2, Azure Data Lake, AWS RDS or similar.
- Knowledge of CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as code solutions such as Terraform is an advantage.
- Knowledge of containers and container orchestration is an advantage.
- Knowledge of APIs is an advantage.
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI and MicroStrategy is an advantage.
- Knowledge of other languages such as Python is an advantage.
- Azure and/or AWS experience is desirable.
- Having experience in insurance is an advantage.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent English and communication skills.
- Flexibility to take on new challenges, including architecting with new technologies.

Primary work location is Barcelona (Poblenou) or Bratislava. Option to telework from any location within Spain territory is also feasible.

This position may require travel of approximately 10 days per year.
