**Senior QA Automation Engineer**

As a Senior QA Automation at Parser, you will be responsible for developing software solutions using different technologies, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.

We are looking for someone that is technical and a problem solver who is also able to work and communicate within cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality products in an agile environment.

**The impact you'll make**:

- Develop and execute automated tests for UI and APIs using established frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure tests align with business goals.
- Contribute to the integration of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and expand scalable QA automation frameworks across services, APIs, and UI components to ensure platform-level quality.
- Enforce testing in one-click CI/CD workflows using tools like GitLab, ArgoCD, Octopus, or similar platforms.
- Define and implement strategies for automated test data creation using factories, mocks, and synthetic data generation tools.
- Design and manage on-demand performance and load testing environments with tools such as k6 and JMeter.
- Utilize observability and performance monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic) to assess system health.
- Identify key test scenarios and actively log and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle.

**What you'll bring to us**:

- 6+ years of experience in all testing aspects and testing strategy.
- Solid experience in test automation for APIs and web UIs
- Experience with database testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Playwright, REST Assured, Selenium, Cucumber).
- Language knowledge:Javascript /.NET.

**Technology Stack**:

- React / Next.js
- Testing Tools & Frameworks:

- Playwright / Selenium (UI automation)
- REST Assured or automation with Postman (Newman)
- Cucumber / Gherkin (BDD testing)
- CI/CD & Version Control: basic knowledge with versioning control and pull requests.
- Others:

- Docker (potentially for isolated test environments)
- Browser automation tools (possibly Selenium Grid or cloud platforms like BrowserStack/Sauce Labs)
- Familiarity with contract testing, component testing, and non-functional validation techniques

**Location**:

- Office located in Madrid
- Hybrid work model with an expected office presence of 1-3 days per week (approximately 20-25%), depending on client requirements.
