**About the role**:
We are seeking an Intern Data Science to join our dynamic team. At Viralgen, Data Science is a core competency, and we continuously strive to enhance our capabilities and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

**Key Tasks**:

- Defining project objectives and identifying key questions to guide analytical efforts.
- Cleaning, transforming, and preparing datasets to ensure data reliability and suitability for analysis, employing best practices in data management.
- Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies within datasets, enhancing our understanding of the manufacturing process.
- Developing and validating solutions based on generative AI to enhance operational efficiency, or utilizing machine learning, mechanistic, or hybrid models to improve understanding of biological and manufacturing processes.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Familiarity with object-oriented languages (e.g., R, Python), SQL, and relational databases.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
